I'm taking part in an ATC swap and the theme is fat chubby ladies so here is a sketch of my first one, now she needs to be painted with water colours.

If I carry on baking and eating cupcakes it won't be long before I'm gonna be nice and cuddly like her !!! :) :) :)

Just posted out my Secret Santa Gifts to my partners.............boy am I glad I've finished !!! I love doing these things but I get myself into such a tiz and panic, you should see the kitchen ...well let's say it's now an art room !!! luckily I haven't confussed the food with my art supplies......mind you with my cooking don't think that would be such a bad idea !!!! :) :) :)

I keep going back to look at my partners profile of likes and dislikes and then feel that what I've done isn't good enough so it's back to square one !!! Trying to decide what to send in the end was just as difficult........dunno why but I always end up in this predicament !!!.

Just had a look on PPF wow what a greyt bunch of artwork by some fantastic artists. You know I am truly grateful to all the artists I've met over the last couple of years and their generosity in sharing techniques and tips , which have helped me grow in my artwork...thank you one and all.

Here is a chunky page I did with what I could do with now .....a fairy.....to wave her magic wand and all will be clean and tidy in my kitchen !!! :)

ATCS done with some pencils that I bought at the craft fair on Friday. This is the first time I've coloured in just using pencils, I'm more mixed media and watercolours. Now should I spray these with a fixitive or not....???

what a week, apart from getting over renal cholic with the odd twinge every now and then it's been a week of Making ATCs I've made about 20 in all but cannot show them as they are for swaps and a secret santa swap.

This secret santa swap is making me grow greyer by the day......everytime I do something I'm happy then a day or two later I read their profile and feel that it's not 100% to what I should be doing !!!

On Friday I went to the MONDO CREATIVO craft fair in Bologna with 2 dear friends, lots of nice stalls,tempting items to buy, mini workshops, demonstrations , not much in the way of anything new on the scene but really enjoyed myself the same saw a lot of people from the past and for once didn't spend too much money !!! LOL

Stumbled upon this SHOW AND TELL SATURDAY so I thought I'd participate for the first time , so here are 2 atcs that are not secret.

These are my first needlefelted ATCs that I made last year after reading an article in the CPS magazine ( cloth paper scissors ). Had a lot of fun making these....you should give it a try....but do be careful of straying fingers......ouch !!!!!

IOS challenge

The challenge on IOS this week is your first ATC that you made...................ok should be easy enough not having to do any work........... infact ...but not that easy for me. !!!

I first go involved making ATCs in 2004 and most of the ATCs I made I never scanned as I didn't have a scanner and just got swapped out.

So here is one that I made maybe early 2006 that I think is adapt for the month of DECEMBER.

The background is faux wood, a vintage image, a stickon flower and a beaded Tiara made by me.

ATC for IOS ( Italy on sunday). Thought I may as well participate for once, I take part in all the other online challenges with lots of participants, here there are way less so I thought it's only fair!!! This is an old ATC I made for an Australian friend last year but I liked the theme SOGNI / DREAMS for IOS and the art that was made by the designer of the week

Rubber stamps used by cherrypie stamps and firecracker design, watercolours, vintage wallpaper and paperscrapbooking flowers...which I don't really like so why I used them here I'll never know!!!!

Sorry gals that it's not a freshly arted one but I'm too tied up in the world of mixed media swaps and courses across the seas

This week's Think Monday Think ATC challenge is STONE, here's my contribution.

The background I've done like a faux leather and the image is from artichix which I gessoed over.

Had to work very quick on this as it's so hot here all my materials were drying up on me, especially the glue....you can see that the words I stuck on and they dried so quick I couldn't put them striaght.......aarrgh.

More ATCs with a summer theme, here I've used photos taken on a beach in Tanzania together with other materials so you can see what you can obtain.

A playing card for the base then painted and crackel effect given, photo of Tanzanian beach and a vintage 50's image put on top.

Qui in Italia ATCs sta diventando consociuti ...........YAY. Sono piu di contenta perche adesso ho piu persone per fare SWAPS...scambi.

Ho nominato molti di questi ATCs come STCs = scrappers trading cards ..perche dal mio punto da vista, molte persone, chi stanno facendo qui in italia, sono dal mondo di scrap cosi usano il loro tecniche che loro sono abituati usando per lo scrap, anche il materiale.

Guarda questa ATC, ho usato la carta di K&C molto stilo dello scrap.

Devo dire "SCUSA" . Ho dimenticato il mio username e password per questo blog, ma eccomi di nuovo.
Qui é un ATC fatto con colori ad acquarelle, poi ho timbrato sopra. E' stato facile e molto veloce per fare.

Ho deciso di iniziare un Blog dove possiamo parlare nel mondo di ATCs
( artist trading cards ).

Mi piacerebbe inziare fare ATC SWAP s = uno scambio di artist trading
cards fra gruppi di persone, parlare di diverse tecniche che possiamo usare per creare un ATC, come possiamo usare per esempio nel mondo di SCRAPBOOKING ecc, fare anche una Sfida = Challenge ogni mesi per esempio.

Ecco uno di miei ATC che ho fatto un po' di anni fa chiamato ' FLY AWAY'

Hi there,
I decided to start a Blog where we can talk about the world of ATC = Artist Trading Cards.
I would like to initiate ATC swaps between gruops of people, talk about different techinques that we can use to create an ATC, how we can use our ATCs for example in the world of scrapbooking etc, have monthly challenges.

In the next posting I will explain what an ATC is, the rules and materials needed.

Above is an ATC called 'FLY AWAY' that I made a couple of years back, I used water colour paper, did the background in watercolours, once dried I used rubberstamps for the face and words and cut out a butterfly that I glued onto the card ....è voila....an ATC
